Waterland: the Holland fifteen minutes from Amsterdam
Cross the IJ, ride north for a quarter of an hour, and the city is gone: green wooden houses, smokehouses, cows and water on every side. Waterland is the landscape people imagine when they think of Holland, and it is our home; our office is in Monnickendam.

Zandvoort: a racing circuit in the dunes
Forty minutes from Amsterdam, a racing circuit winds through the dunes a few hundred metres from the North Sea. It was built after the war partly on roads laid by the occupying army, it has banked corners that would not look out of place in America, and on a weekday you can drive it.

Turning Tables: the quiz show where you change tables after every round
Nine hundred EY people in two halls at NH Leeuwenhorst. A court house in Den Bosch. A town hall in Domburg at Christmas. Turning Tables is our answer to the dinner where everyone sits next to the colleague they already know: a quiz on iPads, a host, a DJ, and after every round the whole room moves.

The tram that time kept: Amsterdam's museum tram line
On Sundays, a wooden tram from the early twentieth century rattles out of a national monument in Amsterdam-Zuid and through the Amsterdamse Bos. It is run entirely by volunteers, it is an official wedding venue, and you can hire it for your own group.

From shipyard to street art: NDSM and the STRAAT museum
Behind Amsterdam Centraal a free ferry crosses the IJ to a shipyard where ships were built for almost a century. The cranes are still there. Inside one of the old halls hang more than 150 works by street artists, most of them made on the spot.

Paralympic Games for companies: two hours in the shoes of the athletes
Wheelchair basketball, sitting volleyball, blind football and a keynote by the founder of Only Friends. Our most booked team programme in Amsterdam is not a canal cruise. It is an afternoon of Paralympic sport, played by colleagues, at the Friendship Sports Centre in Amsterdam-Noord.

Friendship Sports Centre: the sports hall at the edge of Amsterdam-Noord that 2,000 people use every week
Walk under the A10 at the Beemsterstraat and you reach a sports complex most Amsterdammers have never seen: the home of Only Friends, a club for children with a disability that grew from eight boys and two footballs into a community of 900. It is also where we run more corporate sports days than anywhere else.

Chain Reaction: one machine, built by everyone from the CEO to the receptionist
Pallets, pipes, crates, a yellow gym ball, a toy car on a slide and a trampoline. Every team builds one section, every section has to trigger the next, and at the end the whole company stands around a single machine that either runs from start to finish or does not. Chain Reaction is the team building programme where nobody wins unless everybody does.

How to organise a sports day for 100 to 2,000 colleagues
On 17 May 2025 we ran a sports day for DHL's 50th anniversary in the Netherlands: 24 stations, a crew of 45 and everyone from couriers to management on one site. Two weeks later a thousand people came for Toyota's Onbeperkte Sportdag. This is what we learned about scale.

The day the King came to Only Friends
On a Wednesday afternoon in February 2025, King Willem-Alexander visited Only Friends at the Friendship Sports Centre in Amsterdam-Noord. He put on boxing gloves, won a racerunning race, and told the room he could not imagine anyone leaving this place unmoved. This is the story of the club, the day, and the work behind the scenes that let it feel like just another afternoon at the club.

SugarCity: a sugar factory from 1863 built for a thousand people
Ten minutes from Amsterdam, between the railway and the polders, stands the former sugar factory of Halfweg. Beet ships once queued here every autumn. Today the halls hold television studios, a renewed Middenfabriek of 3,500 square metres, and on one memorable day a thousand Nike employees celebrating inclusive sport. A venue story about industrial heritage and scale.

The factory hall on the IJ: STORK, the Haring Party and what came next
On the north bank of the IJ stands a factory hall where, a century ago, Stork built machines for sugar plantations in Suriname and engines for ships. For years it was STORK, Amsterdam’s largest seafood restaurant and the setting for two editions of ABN AMRO’s Haring Party with 500 guests. The restaurant has since closed, but the hall is still there. A venue story about steel, water, herring, and a building that keeps reinventing itself.

For the global leadership team of Audemars Piguet we curated a city experience through De Pijp, starting from Hotel Okura. The theme was theirs, The Beat Goes On. Armour Day: become a football player
Twice we created and delivered Under Armour’s global management event, Armour Day. The latest edition was fully themed around the brand’s American football line, with appearances by Anthony Joshua and Nicole Holliday, and one goal: to put every guest in the mindset of an elite athlete. This is how a management event becomes training camp.

What a corporate event concierge actually does
Clients ask us this on the first call, usually politely. The short answer is that we are the people who make sure you never have to ask twice. The longer answer explains why the concierge model is different from an event agency, what white-label really means, and how a typical project runs from the first conversation to the last guest leaving.
